Welcome to my Farewell Party~NOT!

This is what i wrote to cancel this interestingly unwillingly, planned farewell dinner to my bosses this morning.

“Dear Mr. Lau / Mr. Hayabusa,

I apologise for the inconvenience caused, but I regret to say that due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am not able to attend the farewell dinner that was planned by all of you this Friday.

In my honest opinion, having known all of you here is already one of the greatest gifts, in addition with all the memories and experiences that I have gained from SINCOM. I feel there is not a need to have something grand and a big treat from the company, to bid farewell. We will all still remain in touch, and I don’t think there is ever a goodbye in anyways.

Nonetheless, I would like to thank all of you for everything during my period of service in SINCOM.

Finally! Like, really finally. ianny got his enlistment letter! Great oh great.

Dear Mr POH WEI YI, IAN.

Your enlistment date is on 07-Oct-2008. Your reporting unit is SINGAPORE CIVIL DEFENCE FORCE.

(okay, i made that up, cos i dont remember what exactly it was like in the letter.)

Hahahah! civil defence. He loves the idea of sliding down the pole like how firemen do. The idea of you being in fireman suit and making an emergency situation not emergency is just so funny. Well, please do a good job there and achieve whatever you want to achieve there okay ? i’ll be waiting patiently for your return each week. Woohoo!

Okay, one last week to being in Singapore Component and going over to Elzeno. I dont mean to say this, but the pressure and stress is coming on. And i’m secretly scared inside. But i’ll get over it and just, see this all in a positive way. It was a rash decision, but okay, things will go fine. I’ll expect many things to come. Pray for me peoples ! And I congratulate myself to getting this job (with a price to pay).

Weekend’s been good. Got my cousin to come along with me to KO night, cos i know for sure she’s secretly wanting to check things out. Well, i hope you enjoyed this and get yourself exposed to something new.

Headed down to Ian best bud, Chu Leong’s 21st birthday chalet. New friends made, lovely new friends made. It was a simple buffet celebration, chilling in the room with many stuffs to make fun of, and I am so jealous of the birthday boy’s muay thai shorts okay.

I’m so going to get one myself when i go to Bangkok. (or , maybe fae you should get them for me when you’re there! )

My longest post by far, tired but secretly happy because I spent a whole 24 hours with ianny, thats so hard to come by alright.

And, i have this sudden urge to play twister. Oh, did i mention, ianny got Chu Leong a pogostick from Toys ‘r’ Us. Er, 21st birthday gift.

Chunky-est idea for all of you.

I’m so going to get myself a Holga camera. It’s only on an average price of $55! And it comes in many colors! Love them color flashes. Yeepee! I’ll dig out my dad’s SLR, and fool around first. I rock. I always say so many things, but i never put them into action. It’s about time to stop being lazy, sab. Really. I need to start to do something! Come on people, push me! Thats going to be the first thing i be doing when i get home tomorrow. Get dad to dig em’ out. YAY!

life’s good man, what else could i ever ask for. okay besides the occasional irritating cries for attention to ian, and the occasional crazy sabby moments(that’s what he calls), everything’s all still…. good.

other than that, next most important people in my life, the girl who celebrates the same anniversary as me, is coming back soon. for 3 weeks. miss ya face. and i hope to devote as many time as possible to you when you’re here alright?
